Scientific evidence of the power of prayer

As discussed in my last blog, the wonderful benefits of sincere prayer cannot be expressed in words. By means of various scientific studies, it has been proved that the wonderful affects of sublime thoughts associated with prayer and remembrance of God, are not only limited to the mind or spirit, but extend to the physical world as well.

In one of the recent research, Dr. Masaru Emoto took the water droplets and exposed them to various kind of thoughts associated with words, music, and environment. Then he froze them for three hours. He then examined the crystal formations under a dark field microscope and took photographs. You will be impressed to look at these photographs.

The photograph above, on the left side, is the water after the prayer was said and touched by a pious Budhist monk. You can see the beauty and wholesomeness of this water crystal. The photo below, on the right side, is the ordinary water without any prayer spoken over it. You can see that the molecular structure is in disarray in this photograph.

No wonder that it has been elucidated by another scientific research - that the truly spiritual and religious people remain healthier and happier than the rest of the masses. More details about Dr. Emoto's research is also present on Wikipedia

Think about it. More than seventy percent of your body is water. If pious thoughts can purify the water molecules and illuminate them, then what a wonderful affect these pious thoughts might be having on your body? No wonder that the wise sages of the East suggested thousands of years ago to pray before your meals and drinking water. When you pray to God or calm your mind with the help of meditation or sing in the glory of God, the associated pious thoughts makes each and every cell of your body blossom with purity and elegance. In this manner, a sincere seeker gain physical health, mental peace and spiritual bliss.

  1. Do you mean to say that good thoughts and prayers can transform water droplets to crystals? Too strange to listen............

  2. Ranjith, water is not transformed into crystal. It is only the photograph of the water molecules under powerful electron microscope. Water molecules regained their purity and appeared like crystal with the help of positive thoughts of prayer. But water still remained water only.....

    Thanks for your comments.
