Saints have an unusual way of putting across their message. They don't want to prove you wrong or hurt your ego and at the same time they don't want you to remain ignorant. This is a short story about a Sufi saint named Rabia.
Rabia and Hasan used to exchange their spiritual thoughts after dinner. Rabia, the Sufi saint, was in the state of deep love with the Supreme whereas Hasan was still a religious follower. Hasan used to convey to Rabia about his deep desire to go for Hajj to Mecca.
One evening when Hasan went to meet Rabia after dark, he was a little surprise to see Rabia who was searching for something on the street under the street light (coming from flame in the olden days). Curiously, he asked, “Rabia, what are you looking for here?”
